Interoperate uses a logic based method to translate legacy and obsolete software to its
modern version. Other translation techniques have insufficient automation, resulting in
excessive time and cost, inadequate quality and excessive manual effort. With Interoperate’s
semantic translation techniques, projects can be completed in a fraction of the time with
very accurate results. Our method has succeeded in developing automated translation
applications where others have failed.
We have proven our technology by developing the following applications:
- HP WinRunner TSL to HP QuickTest Professional
- Parser/Translator for Nexus (a bioinformatics language standard)
- The TransBraille System (to facilitate math study by the blind)
- Proprietary testing application to Borland Silk
Dr. Gupta is the Co-founder and CTO of Interoperate. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UNC Chapel Hill and a B.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur. He did post-doctoral work at the University of Bristol, UK. Dr. Gupta has conducted research in programming languages, language processing, and symbolic computing for more than 20 years. Dr. Gupta has developed several novel software systems and developed many new implementation techniques. The language translation technology that forms the basis of Interoperate has been developed by Dr. Gupta and his Ph.D. students over a decade of research.
